Seeking a Full-Time Student Minister
Meridian, Mississippi
New Hope is a vibrant Southern Baptist congregation located in a semi-rural setting with convenient access to Meridian and local schools. Our church is situated in a community served by two of the top school districts in the state. New Hope has experienced significant growth across all generations over the past decade and continues to seek new ways to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a multigenerational church family committed to biblical teaching and preaching, Spirit-led worship, caring relationships, and making disciples. We currently offer two Life Group hours and two worship services each Sunday.
We are seeking a full-time Student Minister with a genuine love for the Lord, a passion for reaching students, and a heart for discipling this generation to become lifelong Christ followers. Our student ministry includes both middle school and high school ministries, with the Student-Minister providing leadership, vision, and oversight for both. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and teacher of God's Word, an energetic and relational leader, and someone who desires to build upon an already strong student ministry while working alongside our pastoral staff and church family.
Qualifications: Seminary education preferred or 3 years student ministry experience.
